Lent Course 2017
This year's lent course will focus on the film 'Amazing Grace'. Each week we will watch part of the film and consider associated Lenten themes, especially Jesus' parable of the Good Samaritan.
Each session will be in the church cafe beginning with tea or coffee at 7.45 pm on the following dates:
Wed March 22nd
Wed March 29th
Wed April 5th
All are very welcome. The discussion is lively, and we always find it a good way to prepare for Easter.
Easter at Eltham Park Methodist Church
Easter at Eltham Park begins with the service of Light and Dark commemorating the Last Supper on Thursday 13th April at 8.30 pm.
We remember the crucifixion on Good Friday at 10.30am.
Easter Sunday is celebrated at two services: communion at 9.30 am, followed by a breakfast. The family service is at 10.30am.
Bring a few flowers to decorate the Lenten Cross, which will be placed outside afterwards as witness to the resurrection in our community.
'The open Book, the Table open to all'
Our worship is rooted in the core values of Methodism and we offer a warm welcome to all to share the life of our church. Why not join us in the traditional Sunday morning service at 10.30 to 11.30 and enjoy a cup of coffee with new friends afterwards? Or you might like the less traditional Toddler Church on Wednesdays and the occasional Messy Church after school. We celebrate communion once a month and enjoy a Family Parade service every two months.
The Church Anniversary is planned on May 8th 2016. More info.
You will find a wide range of weekly and monthly activities catering for all ages. We are proud of our Edwardian church and our newly-refurbished premises, which are well used by a number of enthusiastic groups. You will be sure to find something that you and your family can enjoy.

Visiting Us for the First Time
Eltham Park Methodist church seeks to make people welcome in its worship.
There is easy access on the level which takes you through a short entrance, into a social area before you enter the worship space. This is a roomy area and there are plenty of seats. You simply sit where you feel comfortable.
Most of our congregation arrive some 5 minutes before the service is planned to begin even though the doors are usually open some 30 minutes earlier.more info | PERSONAL REFLECTIONS ON ELTHAM PARK METHODIST CHURCH
